Mason District Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality patient care. The information in this section is designed to help you and your family understand how we perform in comparison to nationally recognized quality indicators as well as other area hospitals.

Quality indicators are compiled by Hospital Compare, a website created by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) along with the Hospital Quality Alliance (HQA). The HQA is a public-private collaboration that reports on hospital quality of care. The HQA consists of organizations that represent consumers, hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations, and federal agencies.

How to use the Website:

• Click here to be directed to the Hospital Compare Website
• Type in your Location – Zip Code or City, State. Then click the “Find Hospitals” button
• Scroll down and “Check” three hospitals you would like to compare. Then click on the green compare button on the bottom or top of the screen.
• You will then be directed to a screen that compares the three hospitals you selected.
